Academic Programs
White Cliffs Middle School (WCMS) utilizes both the iReady Curriculum and the Cambridge Curriculum for our students.
iReady is an award-winning literacy, mathematics, and assessment program used by over 12 million students -- nearly one-fourth of all K-8 students -- in the United States. At White Cliffs, all students take quarterly iReady Diagnostic Benchmark tests to determine their proficiency and progress in Math and ELA standards. Students are then placed on an individualized instruction path based on their grade level and are given individualized online instruction to build their skills and fill in any gaps.
Students enrolled in the iReady program at WCMS are instructed using the iReady curriculum in Math and ELA. This program is grounded in best practices and allows students to build a strong foundation in reading and mathematics.
The Cambridge Curriculum is an international curriculum that is used in over 10,000 schools in over 160 countries. At WCMS, the Cambridge Program is an accelerated, application-only program for students looking to challenge themselves academically and work at a faster pace.
