Principal's Message

Hello White Cliffs Families,

My name is Jerusha Presnal and I am the new Principal for White Cliffs Middle School.  It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year at White Cliffs Middle School! I’m excited about this upcoming year and can’t wait to see you all for the first day of school on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022.  I’d like to take this opportunity to share a little about myself and to introduce the rest of our leadership team for WCMS.

Prior to stepping into this role, I worked as the Assistant Principal here at White Cliffs for the past two years. I have also previously worked as an Instructional Coach, Student Achievement Leader, Student Success Advisor and as a classroom teacher. All together, I have been with KUSD for 15 years. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you and your students in this new role! I’d also like to introduce our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Lelanie Seyffer. Mrs. Seyffer was previously our Instructional Coach, and has worked in education for the last 10 years. We likewise have a new counselor, Mrs. Monica Montez Stine, and a new Instructional Coach, Mrs.Stephanie McKowan. Mr. Lewis King will continue to be our Dean of Students for the third year in a row. We are all looking forward to the upcoming school year, as is our talented and dedicated staff!  We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your students.  We will accomplish this by setting high academic expectations and providing a supportive system to help students meet the expectations.

Though this new year brings with it staffing changes and new challenges, White Cliffs Middle School will continue to deliver high quality curriculum and engaging instruction for your students. Our vision is to provide a place where students feel safe and supported as they grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. All the staff here at White Cliffs understand that all students can succeed and consider it privilege to educate your students to be lifelong learners and responsible citizens while they build their future stories
